We’ll show you how to recreate Gordon Ramsay’s BBQ Glazed Bacon and Eggs recipe with your new Philips Airfryer below!
A few months ago I was sitting with a friend watching our son’s play baseball. She was going on and on about her new airfryer and insisted that I had to get one. I hadn’t even heard about an airfryer until I heard her raving about hers. So, I was really excited when I was sent the Philips Airfryer to review.
I did a lot of my own testing, and I also researched a host of air fryer buying guides . I ended up making some incredible (and delicious) discoveries. Apparently air is the new oil and the Philips Airfryer is an easy, healthy way to fry. You use no oil… or a tablespoon or less. It’s cooked with air! Yes, you read that right… frying with air! You’ll get the same great taste without feeling guilty! Count. me. in!
I was so intrigued by this amazing new appliance for my kitchen. Plus, I get to eat healthier without removing the tastes I love. The airfryer allows me to fry in a much healthier way with up to 75% less fat!

I rarely cook anything that’s fried. It’s always baked in the oven which usually makes it not taste near as good. Something about frying a food just makes it taste better. Now I have gotten that taste back by using the airfryer.
It’s really quite amazing how it works. The unique starfish shape circulates air around the entire unit, heating up to 390 degrees to ensure all food is cooked evenly. Food becomes crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Philips Airfryer is the original and the best.
Frying is just the beginning for the Philips Airfryer. You can even grill, roast, steam and even bake your favorite foods. It’s a quick and easy way to feed your family and to entertain guests. I can get perfectly consistent results when cooking with the airfryer thanks to the built in timer and fully adjustable temperature control.
Gordon Ramsay has teamed up with Philips Airfyer to create amazing healthy chef quality dishes that are fast and delicious. So, I wanted to put it to the test. I recreated Gordon Ramsay’s BBQ Glazed Bacon with Sunny Side-Up Eggs, on a Toasted Croissant.
Philips Airfryer Gordon Ramsay BBQ Glazed Bacon and Eggs Recipe:
Yield: 4 Servings
Bacon & Eggs:
- 12 Bacon thick cut bacon sliced thick ½ inch thick
- 4 Eggs
- 1 Tbsp. Butter
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 4 Tbsp. Softened butter
- 2 croissants sliced
BBQ Sauce:
- 1-cup ketchup
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- ½ tsp. mustard powder
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp. liquid smoke
First of all, the store was out of the thicker sliced bacon so I had to go with the thinner but it still turned out very delicious.
METHOD
Preheat the Air fryer to 390 F.
In a small saucepot over medium heat, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, molasses, brown sugar, mustard powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke and whisk to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens slightly. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Lay the bacon flat on both trays and cook for 5 minutes. Brush the bacon with BBQ sauce and flip the bacon, brush the other side of the bacon with sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Brush softened butter over croissant halves and toast in air fryer. Meanwhile, melt butter in a medium non-stick frying pan over medium-low heat. Crack 4 eggs into the pan and cook until the white begins to set. Gently flip the eggs and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Gently remove from the pan and season with salt and pepper.
Serve along bacon with eggs and toasted croissant.
“Cooking healthy shouldn’t mean sacrificing taste. My family and I love using the Philips Airfryer because its unique starfish design makes dishes taste great with amazing texture. Air is the new oil, and this time-saving tool stays in our kitchen. It’s just like having my own little sous chef that doesn’t talk back.” – Gordon Ramsay
I love how the suspended frying basket allows excess fat to drain to the bottom of the pan away from the food during cooking. This is perfect for cooking bacon. We all know how greasy bacon can get when frying in a pan.
With the Philips Airfryer, you can indulge in your favorite not-so-healthy foods without compromising in taste. In fact, French fries made in the Philips Airfryer contain 60% less fat than fast food fries and come out crispy with a tender inside.
The Philips Airfryer is available in two different sizes and retails between $199 and $349. It is available for purchase at Williams-Sonoma, Bed Bath & Beyond, HSN, Best Buy, Amazon and other fine retailers.
