Perfect Hot Dogs to Make for Super Bowl Sunday
Are you looking for what food to make for the Super Bowl? We love to cook a variety of great eats for Super Bowl Sunday. I love to make finger foods or foods that are quick and easy for a crowd. Hot dogs are perfect for Super Bowl Sunday. You can eat them with chili, plain or create a hot dog bar with all the fixings.
My favorite thing about fixing hot dogs for Super Bowl Sunday is how easy they are to cook. You can even put chili in the crock pot the morning of and have delicious chili dogs. I’ll share my favorite chili recipe soon. It is absolutely delicious! It took me years to master chili but I think I’ve finally done it!
The Waring Pro Hot Dog Griller is perfect for Super Bowl Sunday. You can grill up to 6 hot dogs in less than 10 minutes! The hot dogs are cooked just right. We absolutely love the slow grilling technique. It has a high setting to cook or low setting to keep your hot dogs warm until guests are ready to eat.
My dad said the hot dogs were so delicious he couldn’t stop eating them. He even ate three! He said they were so yummy and the flavor was delicious! And as my mom says, “A wonderfully grilled hot dog is hard to beat!” My son and husband absolutely loved them too!
The Waring Pro Hot Dog Griller is clean and not at all messy. The rollers allow the hot dogs to cook evenly. We love the easy cleanup. I also love how you can use the polycarbonate cover to serve as a bun warmer.
Be sure you offer your guests some great hot dog toppings. I suggest offering these to your guests so they can make their own delicious hot dog:
- ketchup
- mustard
- sauerkraut
- relish
- chili
- cheese
- onions
Or, go with a theme such as a hot dog from your favorite city. Mine would have to be Kansas City but yours could be Chicago, New York… the possibilities are endless! I wonder who makes the best hot dog.
What’s your favorite hot dog toppings? I love sauerkraut on mine!

I wouldn’t use a hot dog maker like this enough to justify storing it. I do like hot dogs.

I’m not keen on hot dogs/franks (I find them too salty) but I do love a proper pork sausage (with no artificial preservatives) in a roll with fried onions & mustard!
