These backed macaroni & cheese balls are perfect for that family gathering especially when it’s best to serve easy-to-eat finger foods. When we host family and friends I love having parties that are finger foods and appetizers only. I think it’s more fun than having a full course meal. These baked macaroni and cheese balls are the perfect addition to any party whether it’s for the holidays or to cheese on your favorite team.
Baked Macaroni & Cheese Balls
Ingredients:
1 Box Kraft Macaroni & Cheese
4 Tbsp. Butter
½ Cup Milk
1 Cup Three-Cheese Blend, shredded
1 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
1 Cup Italian Bread Crumbs
3 Eggs
1 Tbsp. Parmesan, grated
1 Tbsp. Parsley, finely chopped
Cook Kraft Macaroni & Cheese as directed. Boil macaroni until tender (8-10 min.) and drain water. Stir in butter and Kraft cheese.
Add three-cheese blend and microwave (or heat on stovetop). Stir well.
Cover and chill overnight.
Whisk 3 eggs together. In a separate bowl whisk panko bread crumbs and Italian bread crumbs together.
Using an ice cream scooper, scoop out golf ball size bits of macaroni and roll in your hands until a perfect ball is formed.
Cover each macaroni ball in bread crumb mixture, then in egg mixture, and again in the bread crumb mixture.
Place balls on a greased baking dish. Bake in oven for 10 minutes or until golden.
Garnish with parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve immediately with marinara sauce.
