being a military wife there have been many of v-days i’ve had to spend all by my loansome. So any time we spend vday together is special. One vday when we were dating, the hubby took me to the Hard Rock Cafe and then we met my mom and aunt (who i’m super close with) at this little old theater in the downtown portion of the town and saw the old bette black and white movie All ABout Eve. It was soooo awesome and totally not something he would be into at all!
It is sad but after about 10 years of marriage we stopped doing anything for Valentines, so I doubt at 15 years we will do anything…
I’ve never cared for Valentines Day – when I have a sweetie there is too much pressure and when I don’t have a sweetie it’s depressing
Plan on spending it with my children

I am helping my 3 year old son write Valentine’s cards to his friends and family. I can’t wait for him to hand them out because last year everyone enjoyed it so much.
this Valentine’s we’re going to Medieval Times!
We usually go out to the melting pot… but now that we have a baby we will be going someplace like Applebees!
I will be going out to lunch with a pal.
We used to always go out to dinner, maybe do a movie. Sometimes we’d just have a nice night at home watch a movie or something. Last year it was a weekend & we managed to get to go out but this year I’m not sure what we’ll do now that we have a toddler & an infant & it’s a week day.
I have a special Valentine’s memory from when I was a little girl. My parents got me a puppy for Valentine’s Day. They surprised me by picking me up at school (I was 11) and when I opened the car door, there he was! A beautiful, little, ball of fluff, with an adorable underbite lol just for me! I had my baby for 16 wonderful years. This will be my 2nd V-Day without him. I still miss him so much, but I was so lucky to have had him for as long as I did. (Nikki Marie or rafflecopter))
I have yet to spend my first real Valentines day
Going out to dinner

It seems like my oldest daughter usually gets sick on Valentine’s Day! When she was 3 we had to take her to urgent care so on the way home we stooped at Kmart, my hubby ran in and grabbed her a huge bear and some chocolates to make her feel better!
Then 2 years ago she was 8, she got the flu so bad she stayed in my bed ALL WEEK we had even made cupcakes for her class. I had to take them in for her on Valentine’s Day. She was bummed!
I’ll be spending valentines alone, eating chocolate.
4 years ago, my husband & I went to purchase our wedding rings on Valentine’s Day… and each & every year, I drive almost an hour the week of Vday to get it cleaned (with my warranty) haha. Our 2 1/2 yr old son make vday so special now, even though we don’t really get any time to ourselves!
I think my favorite story would have to be when my husband & I celebrated our first Valentine’s Day as husband & wife back in 1984. We were still in college & didn’t have much money and the McDonald’s in the city where we were living at the time had a special Valentine’s offer. You could bring in your sweetheart & eat off their regular menu, but the tables inside had tablecloths, flowers & candles. Pretty memorable…don’t see that too much anymore!
I but the boys’ favorite foods and make them a special lunch!
my boyfriend usually has to work on valentines day, but we will have a nice dinner next weekend probably
I am alone this year so I will have a nice dinner, a glass of wine and chocolate, which is more than I ever had when I was not alone!
I don’t have a Valentine’s Day story, but what I do like about Valentine’s Day are all the beautiful flowers and hearts.

Don’t have a s/o or bf this year so Valentine’s day will be spent at home though I won’t be alone as my mum lives with me. Last year I had a s/o and we went out to dinner on Valentine’s Day. Follow you on G+ as “From Furrin”.
Thanks for a great giveaway. We try not to promote Valentine’s Day by spending extra money for entertainment because I don’t want it to become another hallmark holiday in our relationship. This year I am making a special dinner at home and snuggling with my honey. 🙂
