UnPlug with Carrom and Quality Family Games
With so much technology these days it can be hard to get our kids to take a break from it all and enjoy a quality family game. I love taking a break and unplug to play a fun family game. It’s always great to get that quality time back that we all need. Spending that quality time with our kids is worth more than anything. My son would pick a game we play together over a video game or iPad any day. We were so excited to get to review the Bowl-a-Mania game from Carrom.
I would like to extend my gratitude to Carrom for sponsoring this post.
The Bowl-a-Mania game is a fun table top bowling game. No shoes or lane fees required in this fun family game! The game is made of a solid wood frame and a break-resistant launcher to send the ball down the lane. It does seem to be made well so it looks like we’ll enjoy this game for years to come. Included in the box is ten hardwood pins, two bowling balls, an easy-to-use pin setter and score pad. The game does require some assembly to attach the ball launcher and pin setter but no tools are required.
The game is not intended for use by children under 13 years old. I was unaware of that before being sent the product but played with my 9 year old regardless of the warning. It is perfectly safe for him. I am sure that young child might be too rough with the ball launcher. There are small pieces in this game so you definitely want to keep it away from very young children so they don’t end up with some in their mouth.
Use the pin setter to easily place your pins on the game board.
Use the ball launcher to see how many pins you can knock down! It’s super easy to use and it moves from side to side to get a better aim.
Here you can see how the launcher sends the ball down the game board.
This game was a lot of fun! We even had Grandma-ma and Pa in on the action. You can even keep score on the provided score pad. We had a lot of fun playing without keeping score.
