Game Day 7 Layer Dip
Ingredients:
1 can (16 oz) refried beans
4 oz (1/2 of a block) cream cheese
shredded lettuce
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
sour cream
shredded cheese
Sliced olives
Salsa
Tortilla Chips
Directions:
You can easily prepare this dip the day before the Big Game using the Glad® Food Bags Storage Gallon and Glad® Food Containers Family Size purchased from Dollar General.
You can make your dip in one of the Glad® Food Containers Family Size (or use a few depending on crowd size) or a baking dish.
First, place the refried beans and cream cheese together in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds and stir until combined and extra creamy. Microwave for longer if cream cheese is still hard or not creamy. Stir in taco seasoning. This will be your first layer you place in your dish.
Layer lettuce, cheese, salsa, olives and sour cream on top of refried bean mixture. Use as much lettuce, cheese and sour cream as you like. I hate to put a measurement on these as I believe it’s more of a personal preference. I love preparing these a few days before using the Glad® Food Bags and Glad® Food Containers, so I can focus on the rest of my party.
Add jalapenos if you like more heat! Serve with tortilla chips.
Place in refrigerator overnight or 1-2 hours before serving. The Glad® Food Containers are perfect for storing in the refrigerator or for leftover
Of course, clean up is always a breeze with my Sparkle® Paper Towels from Dollar General. Find a Dollar General store near you.
