Do you have a favorite backyard dessert you enjoy during the summer? Our friends at Entenmann’s asked us to come up with a fun backyard dessert using their products. I’m sure you’re familiar with Entenmann’s – donuts, cakes, pies and other baked goods. They’re a sweet addition to any backyard BBQ.

With Entenmann’s, everyone’s got a favorite! Enjoy classics like glazed and Rich Frosted donuts, as well as seasonal favorites like pumpkin and apple cider donuts. Yum, those would be perfect for fall! With a wide assortment of flavors, you’re bound to find a favorite (or two).

I knew we wanted to use the Entenmann’s mini pies as they are perfect paired with ice cream. To me a backyard dessert is quick and easy. So, we kept it simple.
Take one or two of the Entenmann’s mini pies and heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Add a scoop or two of your favorite ice cream, drizzle with caramel or chocolate and top with some whipped cream. Easy, peasy! We crumbled some Entenmann’s mini donuts to top it off too. Be sure to join us Monday August 4th for a Facebook live video and we’ll be making some fun donut s’mores with our favorite Entenmann’s mini donuts.
