Take Me Out To the Ballgame with Coke
Baseball is huge in my family. Not only do we love watching the major league ball players but also our son playing baseball. Baseball is his passion and he could play the game for hours. Take Me Out to the Ballgame was the perfect theme for our Happy Hour kids party. It’s a great theme for birthday parties or anyone that loves baseball as much as we do.
Of course, our party would not have been complete without enjoying a refreshing Coke. We wanted to use the new Share a Coke Coca-Cola products. These Coca-Cola’s have someone’s name or nouns such as “mom” and “dad” and are available in Coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero. These are the perfect way to make your party guests feel special. Grab a Coke with each of your party guests names on them. So fun!
I actually found an awesome display of Coke products in Walgreens the other day and it was exactly what we needed for our fun party. Plus, I grabbed my Coke’s at the store during Happy Hour at Walgreens!
What’s Happy Hour at Walgreens?
Every Wednesday through Friday from 4:00 to 7:00pm, Buy 1 Coca-Cola 20 oz. bottle and Get 1 Free 20 oz. bottle to share! You can load the coupon instantly on the Walgreens app or click here for more information.
May through July you get 3,000 Balance Rewards points when you buy participating Coca-Cola products when you purchase $10 of participating Coca-Cola products.
I’ll be sharing our fun baseball theme party with you another day but wanted to start by sharing a simple and FUN tutorial with you we used during our party. It is super easy and very fun for your guests. Plus, you can enjoy your favorite Coke products while you play!
Take Me Out to the Ballgame Party Game Tutorial
Supplies
- Jumbo Marshmallows
- Red Sharpie Pen or Marker
- Coca-Cola 20 oz. bottle
Directions:
Use your marker or pen to draw baseball stitching on your jumbo marshmallows. They don’t have to be perfect!
These are your baseballs.
Use your Coca-Cola 20 oz. bottle as your bat. Your Coke bottle can be empty or full. I found they work best full but you’ll obviously be drinking your Coke as you go!
You can set this game up with an item to hit through to keep score or just for fun.
We enjoyed seeing how far everyone could hit their marshmallow balls. The kids and adults will both enjoy this fun game.
Who will you share a Coke from Walgreens with this summer?

A very cute idea. I think I’d pour the Coke out to drink before the game. 🙂 I also thought just as a baseball party treat you could even use those Wilton edible markers to make baseball marshmallow pops! #client

That is such a great idea to make marshmallow pops! I didn’t even think about that 🙂 After we used our Cokes for bats they were a little shaken up! lol
