Resolutions Made Easy

It seems like everyone makes a New Year’s resolution. Now that it’s February, it’s time to start asking yourself: have you stuck with your resolutions this year, or are you already falling behind? Quit putting off or not sticking to those resolutions! Now is the time for me to help us all turn, “I’ll start my diet on Monday…” into a reality. A resolution my family and I have made is to live a healthier lifestyle. So far I’ve been doing really well at sticking with my exercise goals by making it easy with exercise at home. It can be much harder to stick with going to a gym than it is to exercise in the comfort of your own home. Here’s some tips I’ve learned over this past month that can help you exercise and lose weight at home for your resolution.

Fitness Equipment.

I use my elliptical machine every single day. It has been a great investment, but don’t feel like you need to spend hundreds of dollars on home fitness equipment. Walmart carries a great selection of Gold’s Gym fitness equipment that is very affordable. You can easily get started with some great pieces of fitness equipment for under $10. Even a few free weights, resistance bands, and other body-weight-exercise equipment can help maximize your workouts without taking up valuable square footage in your home.  I’ve personally been using the ankle/wrist weights when I go out for a jog or walk.

Besides my Gold’s Gym fitness equipment, I can’t live without my fitness tracker. It makes me want to reach my exercise and calorie goals every day. It tracks my daily steps so I know when I’ve reached my goals. Plus, I can set it to a workout setting when using my fitness equipment so it can track the exercise I am doing, counting calories burned, time spent, and otherwise measuring important vitals related to my health goals. If you don’t have one keeping you in line, try writing down your goals and tracking important milestones to keep you honest.

Boost Weight Loss.

Not getting the results you want quickly enough? Try boosting your weight loss with Hydroxycut gummies you can find at your local Walmart. The Hydroxycut gummies are designed to aid in your weight loss. Plus, they are great-tasting. They are even perfect for on-the-go; now, you can lose weight your way! Just take them before your two largest meals to help curb appetite alongside a healthier diet and workout regimen.

Fitness Fuel.

While you should definitely exercise to achieve your weight loss goal, eating healthier is arguably a bitter part of hitting your health goals. I love to fuel my exercise at home with foods that I know are healthy for me. I have started making a meal plan every weekend for the following week. I make note of our meals and any snack foods we will enjoy that will keep us healthy. One of my favorites is MaraNatha Almond Butter, which I routinely grab at Walmart. I love to top it on a banana, raisins, toast, or to mix it with my yogurt alongside a bit of honey. It is so delicious! It’s a great way to start my day or perfect for an afternoon snack.

I also like to mix Six Star Protein Powder in my water after working out. It’s a great way to gain lean muscle and helps me recover! These are the perfect great tasting healthy snacks, filled with the nutrients that your body needs to fuel itself and recover from your workouts.
