In my August Birchbox I received Miss Jessie’s Pillow Soft Curls as one of my samples. As you may or may not know, I have naturally curly hair. I absolutely love my curly hair and I rarely, I mean very rarely do I wear it straight. It’s so easy to shower, style, and let it air dry. I love it. I do have a heck of a time with it in the summer. It is very humid where we live so that means I get to enjoy bushy hair a lot! I have tried so many different styling products on it. I do have a few mousses that are my go to brands. Right now I use either Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl Boosting Mousse or Garnier Fructis Style Curl Construct Mousse. I am always on the look out for something better. The worst thing about most products is that they can make your hair crunchy. I do not like it to be that way. I would much rather prefer it to be soft, bouncy curls. (more…)
