Star Wars Leads with New Instagram Format
Instagram is my absolute favorite social network (follow @giveawaybandit) so I was especially excited to hear they have announced their new landscape orientation. What better way to do this than Star Wars style, right? @StarWars recently released an exclusive look at their upcoming film, The Force Awakens, using Instagram’s new landscape orientation. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the very first video content to be showcased in this new format for the Instagram community.
What does this mean? In addition to square posts, you can now share photos and videos in both portrait and landscape orientation on their platform. With this update, Instagram users can upload widescreen video which will be more cinematic than ever.

This is so exciting! I am a huge classic Star Wars fan, and so excited about the new movie coming out this Christmas. I think that this new technology will be a great way for fans to celebrate their love for the new film series, and be connected through picture and info sharing.
Original Star Wars fan, now my grandchildren love it too. We are eagerly awaiting the new movie release.
