Adina Diaz, also known as Your Skincare Guru, launched her intimate Beverly Hills studio in 2014. Wrapped with touches of Tiffany blue, her cozy sanctuary offers up the finest facials you will ever receive.
Having acquired a multitude of holistic and medicinal care experience over the last 7 years, Adina has been trained by the best in her field and is quickly climbing the ranks as one of the most elite Beverly Hills aestheticians.
Offering facials, body wraps, peels, and eyelash extensions, Adina Diaz is the premiere skincare service provider in Los Angeles, and that is exactly why I had to book a facial.
Adina offers 9 types of facials:
- Skin Fit Facial (50 min.)
- Diamond Tip Facial (30/50 min.)
- Dry Ice Facial (30/50 min.)
- Dermaplane Facial (30/50 min.)
- Not-So-Basic Lotus Moon Facial (50 min.)
- Lotus Moon Pumpkin Enzyme Facial (30/50 min.)
- Lotus Moon Wild Cherry Peel Facial (50 min.)
- Mini Lotus Moon Facial (shorter version of the Not-So-Basic Lotus Moon Facial)
- Treat Your Back – Back Facial (50 min.)
As another client left the spa, Adina welcomed me into her studio and presented treats to suit my sweet tooth, along with some alkaline water. She was bubbly and warm. I made myself comfortable while she prepped the room. I was in store for a mixture of 2 facials: the Lotus Moon Pumpkin Facial ($125/50 min.) and Diamond Tip Facial ($150/50 min.). These are Adina’s most popular facial services (and her coveted eyelash extensions also make the top of her client’s to-do list – coming in at $200 for a full set, which is well worth the money).
Upon walking into the spa room, I immediately noticed the profile photograph of Audrey Hepburn and the use of textured fabrics throughout (the white fuzzy rugs, velvet pillows, and tufted furniture) which are all aspects I have visualized when putting together my idea of a dreamy, feminine bedroom. Adina educated me on the products she uses, which were clearly displayed and consisted mostly of Lotus Moon Skin Care (an SMB Essentials company). She has been a loyal advocate of their products for the last 6 years. Regularly used in her services, Lotus Moon products are GMO free and made of natural and organic ingredients. You can browse and purchase Lotus Moon Skin Care here.
I burrowed under the covers of my resting spot as Adina re-entered the room and began my facial. She started by setting the facial steamer to a temperature that felt comfortable for me. I immediately began to relax as I inhaled the steam. Once Adina began to cleanse my skin I knew I was in for a treat – she was a pro! Her hand movement and pressure was on point, which created a much-needed rest for my mind and body. It was heaven…
My facial service consisted of the following products:
- Amherst Gentle Cleanse & Green Tea & Lavender Cleansing Milk
- Cardamon & Bamboo Polishing Cream
- Tonic Lactic Toner
- Rose Water Mist
- Diamond Tip Crystal Less Microdermabrasion
- Pumpkin Enzyme Peel
- Extractions with Witch Hazel
- Brightening Mask
- High Frequency Anti-Inflammatory Treatment
- Cold Compress Roller
- Hyaluronic Acid Serum
- Hibiscus Lotion Moisturizer
- Sol Creme SPF
- Hydro Eye Therapy Roller
- Recovery Lip Balm
All 50 minute facials include a skin analysis, double cleanse with a Clarisonic, steam and extractions, masque, décolleté and shoulder massage, hydration/exfoliating serums, and are finished with an application of moisturizer, eye cream, and lip balm.
My favorite portions of the facial were when Adina used the Rose Water Mist (this made me feel refreshed), Diamond Tip Crystal Less Microdermabrasion (this made me feel renewed and was completely painless), and Pumpkin Enzyme Peel (this held a slight tingle and smelled so yummy I wanted to eat it from my face). The Recovery Lip Balm that she left my lips with kept them glowing and moisturized throughout the day, and is a lip balm I would be willing to leave my Burt’s Bees behind for. Sorry, Burt.
Adina has a loyal customer base that frequents her spa at least once per month in order to maintain maximum benefits, and she recommends the same frequency of visits to all new clientele. Having just had my first facial with Adina, I must fully agree with this policy. My skin felt vibrant for days after and I did not encounter any redness when I left the salon – just a makeup less glow!
Your Skincare Guru’s #1 beauty tip: use the Clarisonic brush nightly (or at least every other night for sensitive skin) before bed. For women that are beginning to see fine lines around the eyes, hydrate by drinking at least 8 glasses of H2O per day (alkaline is recommended), develop a nightly moisturizing ritual, and always focus on working from the inside out.
Although most clients live locally, Adina does attract frequent out-of-towners, so if you do not live in the area and plan to visit be sure to book an appointment with Adina online. You can also purchase services on Adina’s website and contact her via email (Deendeenlove@gmail.com). You will not regret going – she is seriously the BEST EVER.

i used to have the diamond peel when i lived in the dc area. when i moved no one had the machine here. i like the diamond peel b/c it has different heads to get around the eye area and does not spray you. i think it is better for your skin and does a better job. i also have a clarisonic at home.
It sounds like you had a nice relaxing facial. I have heard of Lotus Moon Skin Care products but have not tried any. Thank you for sharing this post.
Love facials they make you feel so relaxed recommend to everyone couple times a week if you have the time.
This sounds wonderful; I’ve never done anything like have facials or go to spas, this sounds like a great place to get pampered! 🙂
