Scents, scents, scents… don’t we all love to be able to pick out our favorite scents? I know I do and especially when it comes to a cleaner. The bathroom is definitely my least favorite room to clean so I’m glad I have Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle to give me more free time like it should be.
Our Review
My toughest cleaning job is one of our showers. I think it must be the soap that is used in it because it gets a pinkish film on it and it is SO hard to get off. Sometimes I can’t even get it all off. I’ve waited a few days to clean it so you can see how nasty it looks and we’ll see how good Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle does to remove it. Plus, keep watching because I am going to post a video of this in action so you can see it working.
You can dilute the Mr. Clean liquid muscle with one squeeze per one gallon of water or apply it straight from the bottle. On my tough shower job, I’m going to use it straight from the bottle only because I know how tough of a stain it can be to remove. In the images below I show before, during and after. My shower is a cream color just so you don’t think that is dirt! lol In the after image I kept part of the uncleaned on the edges so you can see just how good it does work. I love Mr. Clean liquid muscle. My shower is cleaner than ever! Stay tuned for videos of it in action and cleaning more parts of our house. My weekends are going to be free of cleaning! #CleanFreeWeekend

I’m going to have to give Liquid Muscle a try. I’ve been a fan of Mr. Clean’s for years. I’m sure this will save me a lot of time and energy.
I havent gotten to try the new Mr.Clean but so wanting to in the lemon scent, i have used Mr.Clean for many years from cleaning antiques to toilets..and it works well on each and everything I clean..Thanks for a great product.
I could use this stuff on the dreaded

I hate cleaning there and not being sure if I did a good enough job.

Oh my gosh, AGREE! The toilet is the absolute worst especially when you have a 9 year old that misses… frequently! I think it’s because he talks the whole time he’s going. lol
I love how concentrated that this new product is 🙂
Wow, I sure hope it cleans my shower that well!!! Amazing!!
Hi! This product looks like it works great! I don’t know if I have any tips of tricks but it’s always easier with help from the family. lol Thank-you for the review!
This looks amazing!!!! My tip is get the kids to do it LOL,, Would be so exciting to try it,, Always love Mr. Clean products
Ew I hate when we get that pink film. I’m sure it also takes longer between cleans with Liquid Muscle, so that’s a whole extra weekend day of work avoided. My only trick to a #CleanFreeWeekend is that I use the best Consumer Reports rated products so it gets done right; especially in the laundry I like to avoid using heated water, which saves on the bills and even lets me run it on hot days without melting.
I like when everyone in the family chips in with the cleaning help to get it done fast.
I’ve not used many Mr. Clean products, but those I have used are always wonderful. Thank you for your review! Also, if you can’t get that film off of your shower try this solution:
Mix equal parts of hot vinegar and dawn dish detergent (I use the blue kind).
Add the mixture to a spray bottle.
Spray the area you want cleaned, and let it sit for 1-2 hours.
Rinse the area, and it should be cleaned.
I do this in all of my showers for the stains that get on the caulking in the seams. It works well.
Thanks for the tip! I am definitely going to try that mix!
I’ve been giving myself too many clean-free weekends, and that’s why I need Mr. Clean to get me out of the MESS I’m in. I had to laugh about the “pink stuff” on your shower walls because I’ve long complained about the “orange stuff” on mine. What IS that? I guess the shade you get depends on what soapy products you use, or maybe it’s mostly skin cells. Ewww. I know the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser can take it off, but I’m guessing this new formula is more economical or requires less elbow grease for large surfaces. Anything that cuts down on scrub time is a hit with me, so I look forward to trying Liquid Muscle. Just not on a weekend. 🙂
I wasn’t sure whether to post here or at Everything Mommyhood so I am doing both. I don’t have any additional tips. I am glad Mr Clean has this stronger solution for the tough jobs and once used I shall keep using it so that the stains don’t come back.
Wow. Mr Clean Muscle did a great job! I don’t really have any tips for a clean free weekend other than clean a little every day during the week days. If you do that, there will be no work to do on the weekends.
I don’t really have any tips except to just not let things get out of control like we have done in our household. spring cleaning thisyear has already lasted 3 weeks and seems I have only made a dent.
I try to clean all my walls in the house with mr. clean twice a year. Ceiling fans produce lots of dust causing issues with my dust mite allergies.
Wow! I’m impressed – Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle did a great job. My only tip is along the lines of what Amy suggested… I assign certain jobs to certain days, that way it doesn’t seem so daunting to think about doing it all at once.
Cleaning the shower is something that isn’t in my husbands scope of things to do. This might give him the push he needs
I use to use Kaboom for the shower but hated the smell and was worried about our son sitting in the tub afterwards no matter how much I rinsed. I now use the Lysol with the Peroxide…it doesnt clean AS well (more elbow grease) but it makes me feel better since it’s safe to use without gloves and all. Other than that I do a spring cleaning once, or twice if I get the chance, and I use Mr. Clean magic erasers on our walls and trim…it works wonders even though it does tend to take off some of our paint since we have VERY old FLAT white walls…or maybe its just primer I have no idea, but it SUCKS to try and clean.
I really dont have any cleaning tips for a free weekend other than do a little bit each day or if you have the time do it on a friday 😉 lol
My cleaning tip is to put on loud dance music and keep moving while you clean.

Sometimes my stove will get a thin layer of sticky grease all over it, or some stains that the kids didn’t get out the day before. I will pour cleaner on the stove and let it soak while I work on the microwave, sink and countertops. By the time I come back, it’s usually worked it’s magic without me.
Let someone else clean for you!
Love Mr. Clean. It always helps even with tough stains. My tip is just to try and attack stains asap so they do not have time to set or soak in!
Mr clean is great to glean up crayon marks on tile floor , so coloring on my tile is no problem!
I have used Mr. Clean for a lot of years and it is my favorite cleaner. It is great for wall washing. clean a little every day is my best tip.
I clean as I go.
I bet pairing this with a Mr Clean Magic Eraser would work fabulously!
Oh I love the Magic Eraser! You are probably right! I will give that a try!
Very clean.
My shower and tub is so hard to clean! The tiles get dirty after a a few days. Mr. Clean always rescues me from grime! I try to clean the tub at least once a week so the grime doesn’t get out of control!
That is so true! I’ve found I absolutely must stay on top of it or it’s much harder to get clean.
It builds up too fast!
I do like Mr. Clean products. I will try this as it looks like another great product from Mr. Clean!
