Maleficent’s Elle Fanning visits Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at Disneyland

I am sure you’ve recognized the name Fanning… yes, Elle Fanning is Dakota Fanning’s younger sister. She’s played a younger Dakota in I Am Sam (2001) and Taken (2002) but she’s ready to take on bigger roles and has quickly become successful like her older sister. She plays alongside Angelina Jolie in the upcoming Maleficent movie as Princess Aurora.

Elle stopped by Disneyland this past weekend for the Disney Social Media Moms Conference to share some footage from Maleficent. Since she plays the iconic character of Aurora, Elle took photos in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. If you’ve followed Sleeping Beauty, you know when Aurora falls into Maleficent’s grasp, it is up to Prince Philip and the Good Fairies to save her from an evil spell. Of course, we’ll have to find out more in Maleficent this May.

I find the movie interesting – unfortunately neither of my children seem to want to go so I will be sneaking into an evening showing by myself. Good part – I won’t have to share the popcorn!!

The whole family would love this movie, and we still have yet to visit the magic of Disneyland.
