Kohl’s Cares Help Kids in Your Community

Every store has those enticing products they so cleverly place at the registers. Kohl’s is no exception but I always love looking at the new products they have near their registers. Have you ever noticed the products on shelving right at the checkouts? They’re usually stuffed animals and other children’s items.

Those products are part of Kohl’s Cares. They are priced at just $5, with 100 percent of the net profit supporting children’s health and education initiatives nationwide. The sweet story books and coordinating soft toys are such a delight for young readers.

I love when stores give back to the communities it serves and Kohl’s Department Stores are no exception. Since 2000, Kohl’s has raised more than $274 million for kids health and education initiatives through the Kohl’s Cares cause merchandise program, recognized more than 24,000 outstanding kids through the Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program and donated more than 3.2 million hours of associate volunteer time through the Associates in Action volunteer program.

My absolute favorite Kohl’s Cares products were from the Rio 2 movie. My son got the frog, Gabi, and still adores it to this day! It is still on his bed every night!

This spring, Kohl’s will offer customers award-winning children’s books from renowned author/illustrator Leo Lionni as part of the Kohl’s Cares collection. Books and accessories featured in the Kohl’s Cares collection this spring include:
