Jakks Toys S.L.U.G. Zombies Review & Giveaway

Zombies and Vampires seem to be all the rage these days for tweens and teens so why not make a fun Zombie toy too? Jakks Toys brings us the fun, a little spooky, S.L.U.G. Zombies Scary Little Ugly Guys series. The Bandit is holding Series #1 above which includes Zombies King Guts, Decayin’ Dom and Piece Mail Pete. Cute names but scary little ugly guys!

Our Review

I’ll admit it… my son has never had an action figure or anything similar to these little figures. It’s not because I wouldn’t get him any if he asked. He just loves to be outdoors, on his computer, iPad or playing with his John Deere tractors. When I showed him the package he thought they looked pretty neat. They are fairly small… I would say a couple of inches at most without getting out my ruler. They are made some type of hard plastic. I thought maybe they were going to be pretty squishy. It would have been pretty cool if they shot out green slime or something. Haha!

The S.L.U.G. Zombies website is really neat. You can learn more about each Zombie like their name, likes, dislikes and favorite foods. They have a cute Safe House where the zombies are trying to get in. It’s really fun and my son enjoyed looking around their site. You can download a collector poster to keep track of which zombies you have and which ones you still need to get.

My son really enjoyed playing with the S.L.U.G. Zombies. If you have a son that enjoys playing with action figures or something similar then they will love these. They are very cute and such a fun idea. I love that you can collect them all and they each have their own story. You can even purchase blind packs and get a fun zombie surprise to see who is infected next.
