my favorite recipe is my great aunt’s secret recipe for home made snickers bars. She’s made them every year for my brother and I since we were little. Someday she’ll share the secret with me, but for now the mystery makes them even more special!

My favorite recipe is our apple salad. We only make it twice a year and it reminds me of home when I grew up.

Every year we MUST HAVE a Sweet potato Casserole or family members will be in a tizzy! LOL The sweet potates are cooked, pureed and mixed with sugar and eggs, almost like a custard. Then the topping is brown sugar and pecans simply swimming in Butter (not margarine). Bake for a bit and OoooooooooooooooWeeeeeeeeee! I is Delish! It has become so much a part of our Christmas tradition that it just wouldn’t seem right without it!♥

Dressing is my very favorite because I think it is pure comfort food. Very simple ingredients, not EASY to make right, but worth the effort & tweaking to get it just right.
