How to Keep Your Dog Free of Fleas and Ticks

Keeping my pets happy and healthy is very important to me. I make sure to pick up my supplies at our local veterinarian office so I can give them their annual shots. I always have new pets spayed or neutered. Fleas and ticks and be such a problem for pets so I always make sure I have the right products on hand to keep these pesky critters at bay. • Consider their dog’s age
• Don’t split tubes between dogs (although my vet does this all the time)
• Only apply 30 days following the last flea and tick application

Applying the Product

• Remove product from the package.
• Hold the tube with notched end pointing up and away from the face and body. Use scissors to cut off the narrow end at the notches along the line.
• Invert tube over dog and use open end to part dog’s hair.
• Squeeze tube firmly to apply all of the solution from the back of the neck to a point midway between the neck and tail.

Review

First of all, this PetArmor product is super easy to use. I guess it might depend on if you have a willing pooch or not. Tackling down your sweet doggy may just be the hardest part! You might need a helping hand. Have your partner hold on to your dog while you apply the solution. It makes it much easier and you will be sure to get it all on and where it needs to be. I have a pretty easy time putting flea and tick topical on my pets but some are a little more rambunctious than others.

Dukie is definitely free of fleas and ticks! He is super hyper so we definitely needed a couple of sets of hands to apply the product. I love that this product keeps him free of fleas and ticks. Dukie’s an indoor dog so it’s great to know that there won’t be any fleas or ticks jumping around in her apartment.
