Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show Review
Feudin’ Feastin’ Family Fun
The Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show was one of my favorite attractions during our visit to Pigeon Forge, TN. We received free tickets in exchange for a review but my opinion stated here is 100% true and honest. Last year my husband and I really enjoyed watching the Hatfield & McCoys movie mini-series on The History Channel. After watching it, I knew we would really enjoy watching the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show.
The seating was set up with tables and chairs with a fun country theme. A very energetic waiter quickly came to wait on our table. He was too funny and that’s him below with my husband and my hubby’s son. All of the waiters and waitresses were in character and wore country themed clothing. Well, I might call it more redneck style. They were fun and really got you excited for the entertainment.
We ordered our drinks…. sweet tea for sure! He then brought us our Full Southern Homestyle Feast which included:
- Feudin’ Fried Chick’n
- Open Pit Pulled -to-Pieces Pork Barbeque
- Southern Style Creamy Soup
- Smashed Mashed Taters
- Buttery Corn on the Cob
- Keep It Comin’ Cornbread
- No Tellin’ What’s In It Coleslaw
- Granny’s Famous Specialty Dessert – a delicious pudding and whipped cream dessert with a cherry on top

Of course the dessert was my son’s favorite and he quickly dropped a huge helping on his white shirt. He tried to scrub it off before telling me so then he had it ALL over his shirt. When you read my review of the Bob Nelson Comedy Show you will find a picture of him in his pudding shirt since we went there after this show.

The food was all delicious and there was plenty of it. We were stuffed for sure! We went to the five o’ clock show so it was great for our supper meal. If we were finished eating before the show started they cleaned up our plates but we were still eating into the show.
Did you know that the Hatfields and McCoys feud is one of the longest running in history? The true story is actually very sad how it ends and incredible that a family can fight over such silly things for so long. It makes us stop and think about what really matters and why we shouldn’t hold grudges especially when it comes to family. The Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show was anything but sad. They sang and danced with some awesome stunts and great comedy. We were laughing through the whole show! They even had some cloggers which I loved since I used to dance and clog myself.
We highly recommend the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show! I would even see it again. It was a lot of fun. The food and entertainment was awesome! My favorite character was definitely Granny. She was such a good actress. They should give her a raise! After watching the show it definitely makes me want to listen to Earl Dibbles Jr. Yee Yee!

I think it would be fun to go. I especially like that the waiter got into it, and was in character. 🙂 The pictures are great. I’m glad you had a good time.
