Celebrate Football and the Big Game Day with SNICKERS Pretzel Bites

We love watching football and celebrating the Big Game with a fun party. The best part of the party is always the snacks so I like to get creative and have fun with them. I love to incorporate my favorite indulgences like SNICKERS®, Skittles®, or Starburst®. As with any party you need to start with a theme and this one will be all about football and the Big Game!

Snickers WalmartI was able to easily find these treats in a huge variety at Walmart. Did you know you can get SNICKERS in variety packs? I didn’t even realize they made SNICKERS in almond and peanut butter. Who knew?!?Snickers Walmart

I had a lot of fun with the SNICKERS and decided to create some cute SNICKERS Football Bites and SNICKERS Pretzel Bites. We always need lots of snacks for the Big Game so I wanted to have a variety on hand.

SNICKERS Football BitesSnickers Football BitesI used the SNICKERS 6 pk singles and cut out 2 footballs per SNICKERS bar with a knife. It takes some practice but after a while you can get pretty good at cutting football shapes. Of course, if you have a small football cookie cutter that would work the best.

SNICKERS Pretzel BitesI then took different colored Starburst and cut thin strips out of each one. I rolled them out.

Snickers Football BitesI used these for the “laces” on my SNICKERS footballs.

The best part is that you can use your team colors on your little football shapes. It’s a fun way to incorporate your favorite team into the Big Game day party.

Another one of my favorite treats for the Big Game are SNICKERS Pretzel Bites.

SNICKERS Pretzel BitesThese are super easy to make and most importantly delicious! It’s a sweet and salty treat!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Pretzels
  • Bag of SNICKERS Mini’s
  • Skittles – I used the Skittles Original Laydown Bag

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 250° F.

2. Place pretzels on a cookie sheet.

3. Place one SNICKERS Mini on each pretzel.

4. Place in the oven for 2-4 minutes or until SNICKERS are just starting to melt.

5. Place a Skittles in the center of each SNICKERS and press down. If you cooked them too long the SNICKERS will melt everywhere so be sure to take them out of the oven quickly.

6. Let cool or place in the refrigerator.

Use your favorite Skittles colors or team colors to go with your theme of choice. These make for a fun, easy snack for your guests when they arrive.

Skittles threw a tailgate party with Kurt Warner four weeks early. This parking lot will never be the same again. Check it out below:

I’ve shared my fun Pretzel SNICKERS recipes with you so what’s your favorite recipe to enjoy while you watch the Big Game?
