I’m sure most of you can relate to me when I say there is never enough time in the day. Every day I am running around trying to finish everything for work and my family. With the holidays and winter quickly approaching it gets even busier. I don’t know how we manage to juggle everything as we do as moms but we seem to get it done.
Once dinner time rolls around I’m tried and it’s nice to be able to fix a quick meal that I know my family will love. With all the extracurricular activities and sports we are often too busy for a huge meal so that’s why I love easy mealtime solutions and those great dinners-in-a-pinch.
Frozen Meals and Veggies. Frozen meals are definitely the quickest way to prepare dinner for our families. Don’t be afraid to look at the freezer aisle for dinner-in-a-pinch solution. Frozen vegetables are a great way to quickly add a side for supper.

Use your Crockpot. The crockpot is one of my dear friends. I love using her especially in the winter months. I can put all of the ingredients in her before the day starts and have a delicious, warm meal ready for my family at dinner time. One of my families favorite crockpot recipes I make is Crock Pot Pasta Fagioli Soup.
Plan Meals in Advance. On the weekend make a list of the meals for the following week, go shopping and gather everything you need. Instead of trying to decide what to make every night and making unneeded trips to the store, you’ll be prepared and can quickly prepare a meal for your family.
Prepared Meals. If you plan meals in advance as mentioned above, you can easily prepare your meals ahead of time too. Take a Sunday afternoon to prepare all the meals for the week in advance. It will save you time and money. Even though you may feel like you’re wasting a whole Sunday afternoon cooking, you’ll be happy you did once you have all that extra time every evening.
