We consider pets a part of our family and every single one of our cats are spoiled. Since we have 15 cats, they enjoy the wide open outdoors on our farm. I even have a little cat room for them in the barn. They eat and sleep there but enjoy roaming around the farm during the day.

With cats comes litter and even though ours are outdoors I do keep a litter box for them in their special cat room in the barn since that’s where they spend their nights. Cat litter can still bring odors and messes but I found the perfect solution at Target: the Litter Genie® Cat Litter Disposal System. I love discovering new products, and stocking up on everyday essentials at Target.

Litter Genie® Target

The Litter Genie® Cat Litter Disposal System is a discreet, compact, hassle-free, litter containment system that helps eliminate odors for up to 2 weeks at a time. I love that it is small enough to hide away in a cabinet and locks away odor in just 3 simple steps 1.) Scoop 2.) Open Lid 3.) Pull Handle.

Let the Litter Genie® Pail take care of business so you don’t have to. Instead, enjoy this fun diy cat kickers tutorial. Your cats will love you for it!

Supplies:

  • Tube Sock
  • Polyester Fill
  • Catnip

Directions:

Fill the tube sock with polyester fill. It’s always nice to have a helper! Skippy enjoyed helping me…

Add catnip. My cats like a lot of catnip! You can put in as little or as much as you want.

Tie the open end with the string. I like to let the string hang because my cats enjoy playing with it. Milly and Sammy were interested in it first…

That’s it! So easy but so much fun for your feline companions. They will go crazy for it! Then Dory and Boots had to come see what all the fuss was about…

Spoiling your cats can be a lot of fun. I even get a pet care package and cat subscription box for ours! Be sure to check out our diy catnip yarn ball for another fun toy for your cats!

Of course, George was very curious about it…

I like that you tie it closed with string – makes it easy to add more catnip when needed. I’m afraid one of mine would untie it, though, and carry the string off to play with.

This is so ironic, because we just bought our cat a toy sock from Petco. We spoiled our cat, Mocha, since the first day we got her! She was six weeks old. And now even more since our dog died.

I need one of those disposal systems. I hate the smell when the litter box gets too much use before I can clean it. And the catnip kickers toy would give my fur babies a lot of fun.

I used to see them mice and stuff them with catnip. They also used to steal my balls of yarn and bat them around. They both passed away this past winter, Merlin was 25 and Angel was grown when we took her in so I know she was at least 11 years because that was how long she was with us. Someone threw her out of a car in the middle of a snow storm, she found her way to our window. The poor girl looked like a giant snowball. We just let her in and loved her for the rest of her time on earth.

Your cats look so healthy and I love seeing them play outside. We only have a 4 year old cat named Ziva now. Our 20 year old cat passed away 2 years ago and it was devastating. She was so smart and went in and out of the house. She only used a litter box if it snowed outside. Ziva is not smart enough to go outside. She builds things in her litter box with anything she can drag into it. If she didn’t make such a mess, it would be funny. Thanks for your post. You have given me something else to buy for Ziva.

My cat got a new toy with catnip in it. He was scared of it for a long time. I squished the toy and activated the catnip and now my cat with plays with it.
