When my son and I took ours I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew quite a bit of our family history but knew there was a lot I didn’t know.
Taking the test is easy. You just spit (I know, kinda gross) in a small vial and send it off to a lab where they do their magic. Once we received our results we were able to see where our ancestors originated from and our ethnicity percentages. My son and I’s ethnicity was very similar with a very high percentage English, Wales and Northwestern Europe. I had a higher percentage from Ireland and Scotland while he had a higher percentage of Jewish. We also had a small percentage of Swedish. Isn’t this interesting?!?
