Spring has sprung and for many of us that means updating our home with new scents and decor. I was excited to receive more candles from the Chesapeake Bay Candle Company. Remember how I shared on how to decorate for fall with candles? I used candles from their Heritage Collection then so I was thrilled to be able to incorporate new candles for my spring and summer decor.
I love the natural look of the Heritage Collection candles with minimal design and accents of modernity. Reminiscent of a floating bottle on the ocean, brushed by the marine air, the frosted clear glass adds a texture which reflects the beauty of the coastal lifestyle.
Change the Scents
To transition into spring from winter, I like changing my candles to a variety of fresh scents. Some of my favorite scents from Chesapeake Bay Candle are bay cottage, milk & honey, and wild lemongrass.
Bay Cottage Scent: The comforting fragrance of cotton and fresh air reminds us of a cottage by the bay. Satisfied and surrounded by blossoming nature, the scent of a clean linen blanket and herbal lavender mix perfectly with the authentic cottage woods of white amber, sandalwood, and musk.
Milk & Honey: Indulging white freesia and fresh bergamot provide uplifting notes to this soothing, natural scent. A touch of honey-soaked almonds and tonka bean add sweet richness to the middle notes – followed by a comforting splash of milky vanilla, rice flower, and acacia.
Wild Lemongrass: This uplifting fresh scent opens with bursts of sparkling verbena, aromatic lavender, and cool garden mint. Essences of wild lemongrass and eucalyptus, reminiscent of a sun-filled landscape, complement the citrus green core while notes thyme and coriander ground the composition.
Use a Variety of Containers
Not only can you add candles in glass containers to your decor but also the unique galvanized tin that’s part of the Heritage Collection. It gives a natural look with an industrial chic touch which is something I adore. My favorite is the Blood Orange Double Wick Tin Candle.

A vibrant blend of passion flower, melon, and mango provide refreshing middle notes – followed by a touch of earthy cedar wood, sultry honey, and a hint of intriguing pepper.
