Our Thanksgiving are generally the same every year. We all meet up at my mother’s house and have dinner and hang out for a few hours. It’s always great getting to see all my family!

My best memories are of all us enjoying a Thanksgiving dinner with all of us kids and my parents together. My parents divorced when I was 5-6 and holidays were pretty much the only times they would put aside their differences and celebrate with us kids!

I would have to say two years ago my mom got sick she was very week at Thanksgiving I did all the cooking for our family. She wanted to help so bad so I gave her some carrots to peel at the table so she felt like she was helping. Well that was my mom’s last Thanksgiving she passed away Dec 16th. So Thanksgiving I will always see her at the table peeling carrots.
