I’m on the Ipsy waiting list, so I’m not sure about that one. I’m subscribed to Beauty Bar but wasn’t impressed with my first box. I figure I’ll give them another shot because your first box usually isn’t as good as subsequent boxes. I love Julep! The polish is great, one coat and dries fast! Awesome. I started the Starlooks but haven’t received it yet so I don’t know about that one yet. I haven’t heard of Glossy Box or Beauty Army. I’ll have to check them out. Thanks =D
I always wanted to try these, but I am scarred that I will get something I won’t like. For each box you received, did you like each one of them?
I dont like monthly subscription services just because they get to be a lil pricey
I don’t like anything that automatically comes in the mail unless I cancel it.
I’m not sure about monthly subscriptions.. We’re tightening our belts as much as we can.
Very cool, I didnt know there were so many different companies that did this 🙂
Good review of the different offerings. Not into beauty products for myself.
I’ve tried a few of the subscription boxes and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of items I received. I love that I can “try before I buy” the larger containers at the store.
Honestly, I didn’t know there were so many services that offered these boxes, thank you for putting the list together.
I found the trash can clover!! today 2-25-13!!thanks 🙂
I love the idea and will check it out
I love the idea and will check it out
I have been really “not feeling” my current cosmetics and eager to try new things – sounds perfect for me!
I’m one of those people who love makeup, but I rarely wear it. I always surprise my hubby when I put it on…he is amazed. lol
I would love to sign up for one of these subscription service boxes, but I just don’t think I have the money to risk spending on a box full of stuff that I might enjoy, whereas I’d rather purchase something I will definitely make us of or enjoy.
Though if there was a subscription service that was strictly perfume related, I would contemplate it. I feel like there are so many perfumes out there and I want to find a few that I can keep yearly as signature scents.
I am not much of a subscriber for stuff as I try to live a very minimalistic lifestyle however your review looks very complete and informative for those that like to receive packages with beauty products and perfumes.
i didn’t know all these existed!! I won’t do any of these myself we don’t usually have that much extra cash but it can save money of you use a lot of beauty products!!! i would rather get a box of goodies for 10 to 15 dollars a month rather than pay 7.00 for eyeliner and 8.00 for mascarra. plus at least 10 for foundation!!! it seems cheaper
