Arenacross Tour Review
On Saturday March 2nd we attended the action packed AMSOIL Arenacross Tour in Kansas City at the Sprint Center. Since our son is a huge fan of dirt bikes and wants to get into some sort of supercross racing he absolutely LOVED it. I’m sure you were waiting for us to tell you how it went since our Arenacross Tour post.
About AMSOIL Arenacross
The AMSOIL Arenacross features Ricky Carmichael’s Road to Supercross. It is the world’s leading enclosed off-road motorcycle racing. The dirt tracks are man-made and filled with jumps, turns, and other obstacles in only 18,000 square feet of space.
Our Review
The night was filled with several races that lead up to the main event. It was really exciting to see the riders battle it out to the finish line. My son was glued to his seat the whole time watching and smiling as they raced around the track. They also raced one-on-one eliminations to crown a winner. There were several spills and wrecks but no one was hurt too severely. I do think someone may have broken some ribs but he was back at it to win the race. It’s crazy how they keep racing on the Arenacross Tour races even when someone wrecks. The poor guys out on the track rush out to put out a cone and make sure the other drivers are aware of the crash.
Of course my son loves a good bag of cotton candy. Nothing like filling him on sugar before a 2 hour drive home! He also got a cool beanie hat with his bag of candy. He has worn that thing every day since the event. We also had to load up on a jersey and hoody. Yes, what we save in free tickets we spend in merchandise! And of course the $6 sodas at Sprint Center!
My son’s favorite part of the night was watching the KTM Junior Supercross Challenge (KJSC). It consists of seven and eight year old kids battling it out on the track. My son would absolutely love to do this and I really think he wants to give racing a try one day. I looked up their application process to see how I could sign him up. He is sadly much taller and over the weight limit. He’s a very tall seven year old! These kids sure were fun to watch though. A lot of fun!
The night was a lot of fun and I highly encourage you to take your family to an Arenacross Tour event! They are great!

This looks like a great time. I know my son would really enjoy going to an event like this. I do know of a couple of kids that ride motorcross & its so dangerous. one even had his leg broken & had to have surgery. YIKES! I dont know if my nerves could handle it if my son decided to do something like this.
