The things that influences me when I select a doctor is distance to the location from my home, ratings from others, and if I am referred by my primary doctor.
What influences me when I select a doctor is by how many patients go to a De. I am about to pick and how well they are liked by patients. That means they are good if people go to them if they are referred to the most.
Good ethics and a doctor that I can trust is what decides weather or not I will return!!
what influences me the most are patient references and looking up online how well they are rated.
what infuences me is my insurance and if i really click with a doctor and they are willing to listen to me and answer questions.
Good ethics and a doctor that I can trust one that works out cash plan and dr social also lets me know of others experiences
Reviews!!! I want to know other people’s experience with that doctor.
I feel Dr Social is a good place to go to to look up a doctors education. I like that people like me give an honest review of the doctor.I will be using Dr. Social a lot.
what influences me is how long he has been in practice, who are his patience, how clean his space is, money… I think having the Dr Social form is wonderful because of being able to read others reviews and comments on a particular Dr and also find a Dr that your looking for
lots of people review is what i base my doc on i want to always go with the best rating and reviews
I like that you can find a doctor close to home.
Referrals are a big part of me choosing a Dr. Also, if I am getting referred by my primary care physician I feel like this Dr. will be good because I trust him so much!
Location is how I always choose a Doc!
Three things influence me: referrals, bedside manner (someone I feel like I can communicate with) and location.
word of mouth is what influences me the most
Friend recomendations are the best, I think.
Reviews from other parents would be what influences me most. Word of mouth normally but online reviews also can. (I sometimes believe some of these are “stacked”). A company checking over the intregrity of this would be good. One thing my doc and kids doc HAS to have is compassion and that the doc treats them as a person and not a “case number”.
I choose my doctors with several ideas in mind: they experience, their proximity, reviews from others. I like doctors that take the time to explain things to me and don’t talk down to me. Once I tell them I was pre-med and have a degree in biology, they usually understand that they can speak to me on a different level. I do not put up with doctors who act superior to me, like the one who told I should not be on disability and should be working. This was my first visit to her. I explained that I suffer from multiple chronic diseases that got worse with my son’s suicide and let to losing my job. I since have been taking care of myself and going to school to get a degree in web development. I then asked her if she would hire a 61-year old woman with chronic illnesses to work in her IT department. That shut her up and she has dealt with me better since.
Word of mouth and location and internet finger tip information are so important.
location, word of mouth and google searches.
I am most influenced by personal references by trusted family and friends, doctor reviews online and of course, location!!
Distance from me
Since I have been going to the same clinic for years, I would have to say that I am most influenced by my Dr.
Reviews and word of mouth are what I look for. Also credentials and history.
References & the knowledge of the staff.
What influences me the most when choosing a doctor in any field of study is where they went to school, how long they studied for, specialities outside of there field, where they did their internships and how long, how long they have been in practice, suggestions from family, friends, and other doctors, reviews from online sites such as this one, and whether or not they continue to educate or update themselves in their field of study.

I think Drsocial will be helpful because everyone likes to hear others thoughts and experiences to help make a good choice
Reviews help me choose a Dr.
I agree with sally guenterberg, hearing thoughts and experiences of other will help a lot.
What influences me to choose a doctor is which doctor I feel most comfortable in and seems friendly and sincerely cares about my health.
I look for location proximity to where I work and if they have good reviews from other patients
when i select a doctor i check on line to see how he is rated and if he qualified for m needs
It would help me to pick from reputable reviewed doctors in my area
i look for reviews, on the dr, what the specialies are, if he takes my insurance, which is a big thing. if they are board certified, and black marks on them.
When I looked for doctors years ago, I could only rely on others’ word of mouth. There wasn’t any social media, Internet, anything. I think this is a good resource, especially with a lot more doctors now-a-days & all the fraud going on. A doctor can be the difference between life & death! We go to doctors to get better & live.
insurance and experience ty
I get influenced by recommendations from friends and family.
When I choose a Dr. I also make sure he is highly recommended by friends or family.
I usually look for a Dr. that I can freely discuss my personal medical concerns/conditions with. I recently had to find a new PCP and I think I finally found a good Dr./ ARNP. She is attentive to my needs and truly seems to care about my health concerns.
I have to have someone that listens to me. I do not like to be blown off as unimportant.
I usually look for a few in the area of town that I live, then from those I make sure they are in my insurance plan, then I do use the internet for information, comments, and ratings. I think this is where Dr.Social would be beneficial!
Who is in my network, are they attentive or do they brush you off, and bedside manner.
Word of mouth from friends and family is my biggest help with their experiences it helps me decide if this is what I am needing of what ever problems seem to be going on
I usually take recommendations from a friend that has used that particular doctor.
Factors in choosing a dr. are convenience of location, experience, online reviews & recommendations from friends & family.
I go by family referrals.
Word of mouth from family and friends.
other people’s experiences with doctors weigh heavily on my choices, so DrSocial is perfect site for me!
This is great stuff! I’ve been surfing online for a while today, yet I never found anything like this. Is it OK to share on Tumblr? Keep up the fantastic work!
