Apple Cinnamon French Toast Recipe
Always start your morning off right with a good breakfast. Yes, you’ve heard it before! A delicious way to start your morning is with this Apple Cinnamon French Toast recipe. French toast is one of my absolute favorite breakfast foods. Apple Cinnamon Morning Rounds are perfect to use as your toast. They are heart healthy, low in fat and sodium, and completely free of artificial preservatives and GMO’s. In addition, each bun contains 5g of protein and provides a source of fiber, iron, calcium, Vitamin B, antioxidants and folic acid. A healthy start to your morning!
Instructions
3 Apple Cinnamon Morning Rounds (or Snacking Rounds)
1 egg
¼ cup milk
1 tbsp butter
Maple Syrup to serve
Directions
- Beat the egg and milk.
- Half the Morning Round and soak in the egg and milk mixture while lightly pressing onto the Morning Round to help absorb the mixture.
- Heat on medium high until golden brown.
Add some fruit to the top of your french toast to make it extra healthy!
