My son loves learning everything about science and history. His class just learned all of the states and capitals. I was so proud of him how quickly he learned them all. He is like a sponge and absorbed everything he is taught so easily. Although he does loves sports, being a good student is our number one priority and it comes easy since he absolutely loves school. He was very excited to receive the perfect illuminated globe for kids by HearthSong.
My son loves discussing and visiting new places so it’s very exciting to be able to show him where these are located on his new illuminated globe. It’s such a great classic with its’ wooden base but it also lights up! This Italian geographical globe is extremely detailed as you can see of the United States in the picture below.
It is the perfect educational tool for children and families. It’s the perfect size to sit atop my sons desk at 9 3/4″ in diameter. You could even sit it on a nightstand to be used as a nightlight. My son really loves the icons. They make it a lot of fun.

My son loved how quickly he could recognize different countries, cities and continents. It’s simply amazing to him! He loves how he can turn the globe light on or off.
Of course, there’s many advantages to using a map over a globe but this is a great way for our children to learn more about Earth. The illuminated globe is the perfect way for our kids to learn. My son can quickly identify the many parts of our wonderful planet thanks to this amazing globe.
