Reusable Food Pouch for Babies, Big Kids & Grown Ups
I am all about reusable food pouches and bags these days. I love knowing that my son isn’t throwing away a ziploc bag or juice box after every snack. Every little thing like this that we do is not only teaching our kids a better way to live but is better for the environment. I strongly believe in reusable bags and pouches. I wish everyone would use these!
I have fallen in love with the Little Green Pouch, the originable reusable food pouch for babies, big kids and grown ups. These pouches are BPA, PVC, lead and phthalate free. So, what the heck does that mean? I’ll break it down for you…
BPA is an organic synthetic compound. PVC is a major plastics material which finds widespread use in building, transport, packaging, electrical/electronic and healthcare applications.. Phthalates are a group of chemicals used to make plastics more flexible and harder to break.
Clearly you wouldn’t want your kids drinking or eating out of these types of products OR tossing these out into the environment.
My son absolutely loves the Little Green Pouches and how we can refill them. Besides being eco-friendly, the refillable pouch saves you money and reduces waste. I love that they are durable, dishwasher and freezer safe.
We refill the pouches with applesauce, yogurt and juice. If you have a baby you could put homemade baby food in them or healthy real food purees that you make in your home.
They are so easy to use and refill. Just fill them from the top. They squeeze pouches have a handy press zipper at the top. Once half full they stand up on their own for easy setting in the fridge or freezer.
I love using them for school. You can use them in lunchboxes or as an afternoon snack for your bigger kids. They are perfect for little hands!
