Although it seems my family is always on the go, I really love spending the most time at home with them. Being at home enjoying one another’s company can’t be beat. We all enjoy playing a challenging board game too. As the kids get older they tend to enjoy those more challenging games so I was really excited when I found the Escape Room Game.

We’ve all seen those escape rooms you can take your family and friends to… the ones where you work together solving clues to escape and unlock the room. I have always wanted to go to one of those! Now you can bring the excitement of an escape room to your home with this fun new game, Escape Room from Spin Master.

We couldn’t wait to get started playing the game. First, I suggest you thoroughly read over the instructions. The game is best for teens and adults over 16 years old but my 11 year old, who I’ll admit is quite the whiz, excelled at the game and he absolutely loved it. It’s so much fun racing against the 60 minute timer! Be sure you take all breaks before you start that clock because there’s no pausing game play!

You’ll work together with your team of 3-5 players to find hidden clues and solve puzzles that allows you to escape from one of the four included rooms: Prison Break, Nuclear Countdown, Virus and Temple of the Aztec.

During game play, players must correctly enter a four key combination into the Chrono Decoder to claim sweet victory! You’ll have so much fun working together and paying attention to every tiny detail.

I love that the game gets older kids enthusiastic about playing board games again. It’s the perfect challenge for teens and adults! You work together towards one common goal, to escape! I highly recommend the game to anyone with older kids or a great way to spend a cold Saturday night with friends.
