Guest Bedroom Prep for Holiday House Guests
Be prepared for holiday house guests this season with our easy guest bedroom prep. I wanted to make guests feel at home when they arrived for the holidays so I thought a tray in the bedroom with all the essentials would be the perfect way to make them feel more at home. I want our home to feel like a home away from home for our guests while also anticipating their needs for the season.
During my recent visit to CVS I was able to grab all the essentials needed to create the perfect guest bedroom tray. I selected Kleenex, Halls, Premium Saltine Crackers, Lysol, Smartwater, mini toiletries and truffles. I thought this was the perfect combination for guests to feel welcome and like they had everything easily accessible to them.
Kleenex. Including tissues is a great gesture for guests with sniffles or sneezes. I love Kleenex with lotion for soothing softness.
HALLS. The perfect way to relieve symptoms of cough and scratchy throats is with HALLS. I wanted these to be available to my guests if they needed them for comfort so they would be feeling their best. The perfect delicious daily defense.
Disinfecting Wipes. Lysol kills 99.9% of bacteria on soft surfaces. I wanted my house guests to have access to clean up any spills easily or if they felt the need to disinfect so I included Lysol Disinfecting Wipes. I am a big germaphobe so this is something I would appreciate. I love that these wipes are safe to use in every room of your home. I have containers in my kitchen and bathrooms.
Smartwater. House guests can stay hydrated with Smartwater easily accessible in their room.
Snacks. Of course, don’t forget the sweet and salty snacks. Premium Saltine Crackers are the perfect solution to sensible snacking. I also included truffles for those guests with a sweet tooth.
Extra Towels. I like to at least give guests wash clothes but you can also add bath or hand towels. Roll them up for a prettier presentation.
Reading Material. CVS has a great selection of magazines. Think about your guests and what they will like. I select magazines I know my guests will love.
WiFi Password. I found a cute free guest wifi printable online to display our WiFi password to make it easily accessible to guests. I printed and put it in a cute frame.
Flowers. I love having fresh flowers out at all times whether it’s in the kitchen or bedroom. We selected a bouquet of gorgeous roses for our house guests.
