My son has a new teacher this year that he absolutely adores. Although she has been a teacher for many years at another school, I thought it would be nice to create a classroom care kit to gift to all teachers. This would be a great gift to give at back to school or as a gift during the holidays.
It’s important to keep the entire household healthy as the kids have gone back to school. Often time those sicknesses come from school so I wanted to include items in the classroom care kit to proactively guard against illness.
You can include anything you’d like in a classroom care kit. Here’s my essentials for back to school:

3 – Disinfectant Wipes. Being able to wipe down counters, desks or where a student just sneezed is important. You can’t always wait on a busy janitor. So, disinfectant wipes are a perfect addition to any classroom care kit.
4 – Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer. Hand sanitizer is something I always keep in my son’s backpack. I’ve taught him to keep his hands washed but sometimes that isn’t possible so I want to be sure everyone in the classroom is prepared to get rid of all those germs they carry around on their hands.
5 – Antibacterial Hand Wipes. I keep antibacterial hand wipes in my home, vehicles and the classroom is a great place too! It’s important for the children to be able to clean their hands at any time whether it’s after sneezing, coughing or just the need to stay clean.
6 – Facial Tissues. Tissues are something that is always on my son’s back to school supply list. I am sure the classroom uses a lot of these throughout the year so I wanted to be sure to include more in the classroom care kit.
It’s easy for your children to be exposed to new germs when going back to school. That’s why we stock up on these items to help our family and the students feel better when sickness strikes. Not only do I want my family prepared but my son’s school too! We already have enough to worry about with new sports and homework. Who wants to worry about germs and illness?
