Main Event Entertainment is the perfect place for an afternoon or evening of fun with friends, family and co-workers. We headed to Main Event in Independence, MO for a Saturday afternoon of fun! Main Event is the only place that combines Eat. Bowl. Play., under one roof!

Upon arrival we immediately felt the fun atmosphere. Music, play and fun was happening at Main Event. You’ll first notice the counter where you can purchase FUNcards as well as bowling, laser tag and more! Thanks to Main Event for supplying us with a $100 FUNcard! We could use it for games, billiards, bowling, laser tag, dining and more.
One of my favorite things about Main Event is that it’s a more grown up version of entertainment that’s perfect for adults but kids too. Our eleven-year-old soon absolutely loved it!
Eat. Bowl. Play.
Eat: I love that Main Event offers dining options for all tastes. You can enjoy chef-inspired casual dining featuring American classics, a stand-alone pizza café and a full bar.
While we waited for a bowling lane to open we ordered appetizers, drinks and my husband ordered a beer from their full bar. Once our meal arrived we were able to take it with us to enjoy while we bowled. We loved the loaded nachos!
The full-service menu includes appetizers, classic and specialty pizzas, salads, burgers, ribs, steaks and more. Handcrafted pizzas and gelato are served in the pizza café, La Bella’s Pizza.
Main Event offers a full-service bar that features innovative cocktails, a variety of wines, along with local and craft beers.
They even offer full-service catering and private rooms, equipped with the latest A/V technology, making it the ideal venue for special events such as birthday parties, social gatherings and corporate meetings. Lots of fun birthday parties were going on during our visit. My son said he definitely wants to have his next party at Main Event!
Bowl: The bowling experience at Main Event is definitely state-of-the-art. There’s lounge areas where players can eat and relax while playing. The bowling was the highlight of our visit. We hadn’t bowled in ages and realized how much we enjoyed it. We’ll definitely be returning soon for more bowling.
Play: In addition to bowling, Main Event offers billiards, multi-level laser tag and a games gallery with over 100 virtual and interactive games for players of all ages and skill levels.
Gravity ropes, rock climbing, mini golf, bocce ball and karaoke are also available at select locations.
We had a love of fun enjoying the virtual and interactive games together. They offer games for all ages whether it’s a video game, skee ball or shooting games. We love being able to use the FUNcards for play. Just swipe your card. No change needed. You can easily reload and check the balance of your FUNcards at many different kiosks.
