I’ve been working on decorating and personalizing my home office space for the past few several months and don’t you worry, I’ll post the whole makeover soon. My workspace in one of our main living areas was getting a bit overwhelming so I turned a spare bedroom into my very own home office and… I absolutely love it!

I’ve been trying to figure out exactly how to create an office space that’s perfect for a blogger and influencer. I wanted a collage of canvas prints from events and campaigns I had worked on to represent my work I do as an influencer and blogger. Over the years I have had the opportunity to represent so many great clients and attend a variety of incredible press events. You’ll see my collage of canvas prints in every video I do that’s in front of my computer screen. I stationed my computer down the middle of my office with a workstation behind me. Creating the Space

I debated on the size of my canvas prints for several days before ordering. The actually size of the space I wanted to put my collage helped me determine what size to order.

To get started, I measured the length and width of the whole area and subtracted the measurements for the space I wanted to leave between each canvas. After measuring I determined that I could perfectly fit twelve 8″x8″ canvases in my space.

After determining the size, I looked through photos from past events and client campaigns to select the photos I wanted to use. It was so easy to upload them to CanvasOnTheCheap.com online ordering system. Within a few days I had my canvas prints delivered. Their order process and shipping was so easy!

Once I received the canvas prints I measured my space and started with the three prints down the center of my wall. From there I measured and added the prints on each side. I had all of them placed within an hour. It was super simple! Honestly, after I placed the canvases down the middle I did my “eyeballing” measuring to place the remaining canvases. I know that’s not how you’re supposed to it but I’m one of those waste no time type of people and always running on high octane! And here’s another little secret that I probably shouldn’t reveal but I actually just used push pins to hang the canvas prints since they are small and not very heavy. My main reason for using the push pins was so I didn’t have so many screws in my wall in case I decide to do something different with the wall space down the road. Super simple and cheap!

The Final Look

I really love how the space turned out. Down the road I’ll probably replace some of the canvases with new photos as I attend new events but for now these work wonderfully. One thing I wish I had done was add the same photo effect to each print to make the photo color more consistent. Definitely something I’ll remember for next time!

I’m so excited to share the whole look of my office makeover with you soon. I am still working on adding a few decorative pieces to my floating shelves. I still haven’t came across the perfect pieces. For now I’ve placed a few random items I have collected over the years from press events and other work events. I am excited for my space and how much more efficient it is making me in my everyday work.

Of course, no home office is complete without an office cat…
