I love decorating for the holidays and can’t wait to get everything in place. I am not very traditional when it comes to the usual Christmas decorating colors. I have always loved blue, silver and white. When I think of these colors together I instantly think winter wonderland and when I arrived at my nearest At Home store a few weeks ago I was in awe of these gorgeous colors as soon I walked through the doors.

I knew I wanted to add to my collection of blue, silver and white Christmas decor. The At Home store was the perfect place for me to do just that! I wanted to create a winter wonderland tablescape and feel in the kitchen so here’s my ideas on how you can re-create this in your space.

Trees. I am a firm believer that you can never have too many trees during Christmas time. I won’t say a number but I have a lot of trees! However, having said that, I still could not pass up the breathtaking 82-in Winter Willow Tree I found at the At Home store.

As I entered the store it was like the clouds parted and the heavens sang down to me… The tree was the first thing that caught my eye when I entered. I needed that tree. I wanted that tree! I had. to. have. that. tree! It was the perfect addition to my winter wonderland.

Trees are perfect backdrops to any holiday tablescape. The winter willow tree was the perfect addition for me.

Ornaments. Ornaments don’t just go on trees. You can add them to any space. The at At Home store has a huge variety of single ornaments or I picked fifty piece box of blue & silver ornaments. I love adding them to candle holders…

or tying them to a decorative ladder…

or as finishing touches.

I also found the most gorgeous feather ornaments, at At Home, I used to lay down in the center of my table.

Garland. I love to add different color green garland as well as frosted garland.

You can use garland with or without lights. It’s a great way to add another color and added textures.

Lights. Add a variety of lights to compliment your space. For a winter wonderland theme I enjoy adding clear or white lights to my space. I have a lot of the willow twig garland strands that I enjoy adding to every space in my home. I also love adding projection lighting outdoors.

My reason for this season is family and making new memories. Although I do live close to my parents, my sister and brother live farther away so sometimes it can be challenging to gather at the same time. We always manage to get together at some point during the season.
