You all know I am a huge cat lover. I take in strays, rescues and create a wonderful, loving home here for them on the farm. They have a huge barn they enjoy, a buffet of mice and an overwhelming amount of love. I love seeing my son enjoy our cats and kittens. They are a one-of-a-kind animal and pure joy to have at our home. I love to support any company that raises money and awareness for cats. As part of National Cat Adoption Month Scotties® Facial Tissues by Royale® supports cat and kitten adoptions in June.
As part of National Cat Adoption Month Scotties pledges $5000 to three animal rescue agencies. From June 1-7 2017, Scotties® Facial Tissues by Royale® will be supporting feline adoptions at three rescue organizations along the east coast in an effort to place select cats and kittens into loving permanent homes. The recipients each receiving $5,000 include the Animal Protective Foundation in New York, The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Massachusetts and The Humane Society of Tampa Bay in Florida.
During the first week in June, all fees associated with adopting select felines will be waived at participating locations. Initiated by Scotties in 2014, this ongoing effort to increase the number cats and kittens going to good homes has been a key focus for the brand. All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed / neutered, microchipped, screened for temperament, and are up to date on all shots and vaccinations. In the past four years, Scotties has found homes for more than 700 cats and kittens.
“Here at Scotties, we are delighted to see this program in its fourth year,” said John Robertson, Scotties Marketing Director, “We take great pride in helping hundreds of cats find the loving forever homes they so desperately need.”
Scotties hopes to rally support for this cause and to rehome approximately 100 – 150 cats nationally in 2017. Caring owners looking to adopt can visit one of the participating rescue organizations for more information on shelter location, hours, and descriptions of adoptable cats.
