DC Cobbs. My favorite restaurant during our four day road trip through McHenry County, Illinois was definitely DC Cobbs. I love that they feature 20 gourmet hand-pattied burgers topped with fresh ingredients and homemade sauces, plus signature salads, sandwiches, wraps, and more, D.C. Cobb’s is one of Mchenry county’s favorite dining destinations! You’ll find two locations: McHenry and Woodstock, Illinois.
You can create your own burger or select from one of their famous burgers with names like The Heart Attack, The Politician or The Groundhog. I went with The Dick Tracy: grilled onions, mushrooms, bacon & Swiss served between two grilled cheese sandwiches. It. Was. Delicious!
I can’t wait to go back and have another one! Of course, I selected fried pickles on the side along with my mom. We love our fried pickles!
My mom chose The Thunder: caramelized onion, white truffle pub cheese, served on a pretzel bun.
Each DC Cobbs location also offers a bar with a full selection of drinks to quench your thirst after a long day! They feature a full scratch kitchen, using the freshest ingredients. Join them for a drink, enjoy a homemade meal and get down with some great tunes!
