National Debt Clock
When I look at the National Debt Clock I just shake my head in disbelief. How can our country be that much in debt? Yes, I gasp when I look at the number. Don’t get me wrong, our country is wonderful. Full of brilliant minds and over-achievers. We have the right to freedom of speech, expression, the right to bare arms, the right to vote and the list goes on. So what has happened over the past 40 years to go from billions in debt to trillions in debt?
I’m not going tell you that I am brilliant at budgeting because I’m not. I can tell you that we don’t have much debt. We don’t use credit cards. We don’t have lines of credit. We have one auto loan… soon to be paid off. We have a pickup and a paid off car I like to call a peddle pusher. No, I don’t love the car by any means but it’s paid off and I sure do appreciate that. Why can’t our country budget like this and see the National debt clock that is increasing at an alarming rate? We are only getting ourselves in deeper! It’s just like if we had 10 credit cards maxed out. We would obviously be in serious trouble. Our country is getting themselves in to serious trouble!
Do you think personal debt is somehow linked to our national debt? Do you think personal debt makes any difference on how quickly our National debt clock increases?
Check out the National Debt Clock and let me know your thoughts.
I’m not going to get in to politics here but I will say this… Wasn’t George W. Bush the leading cause to where we are now? Didn’t he create this mess? I’m not saying Obama has been perfect at all… trust me, I do not think that! I do think he had a rough start to a downward spiral. I’ll just leave it at that. I was always taught to never discuss politics or religion. It only leads to an argument because we all have different opinions on what is and isn’t right. I’m sure with those few sentences I’ve already started something…
Okay, one more thing… Ready for Hillary 2016!
