Job Summary

The Sales Professional accepts inbound and initiates outbound communication to prospective clients to sell new business opportunities and promotional services. They will provide a selling approach to educate these contacts, timely follow-up, assistance, and close the sale. The main objective is to follow up on inbound potential leads and cold call/email to close sales with prospects. We sell advertising, sponsored posts, and promotions that we achieve through our large network of social media marketing.

Essential Functions:

  • Communicates with potential inbound business on a daily basis via telephone and/or email to provide assistance and to support the closure of revenue opportunities.
  • Initiates communication to potential clients on a daily basis via telephone and/or email to provide assistance and to support the closure of revenue opportunities.
  • Keeps detailed and accurate notes of all sales related activities in our sale software database.
  • Schedules follow up communication as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Sales force experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong email communication skills. Most leads and follow-ups will be via email.
  • Familiarity PC skills, including Google Docs.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, well-organized, self-disciplined, highly motivated, self-starter, high integrity.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
  • Ability to effectively generate sales through cold calling (emailing) and inside sales initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, selling, time management and organization skills are required.
  • Ability to close business while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.
