GFreely Review & Giveaway

gluten free care package from gfreely

These days you can subscribe to a variety of monthly boxes from beauty to fashion to pets and now gluten free foods called GFreely. GFreely is a monthly care package delivered right to your door containing gluten free snacks, foods and recipes with ingredients for only $19 per month. I was sent a free box from GFreely to review and we’re also giving away 3 free months to one lucky reader valued at $75!

Our Review

Even though we aren’t on a strict gluten free diet I was very excited to try this new monthly box service. I subscribe to several different monthly boxes and I must say I was very impressed with this one. The box is much larger than any other ones I subscribe to. It’s probably four times the size! When I opened the box it was filled with full size snacks and packages of food. I couldn’t wait to try them all!

My box contained:

  • Natural Kingdom Fruit Poppers
  • 479º Popcorn – Fleur de Sel Caramel
  • Kay’s Naturals Protein Cereal – Apple Cinnamon
  • Rise Breakfast Bar – Crunchy Perfect Pumpkin
  • Cook Simple Cranberry Wild Rice
  • Fruit.O Organic Fruit Snack – Banana Blueberry Blackberry
  • 2 Pkgs. Surf Sweets Gummy Bears
  • New York Naturals Greenola – Cranberry Nut Crunch

GFreely Review & Giveaway

Now that’s a lot of great snacks and food to try and test in one month! We are very happy with the box and all of the snacks included. I love being able to try healthy snacks before I buy a large supply of them. I also love that these are healthy for my son and family. We love trying new things and I enjoy cooking new recipes.

I plan to become a subscriber of GFreely after trying this box. My son absolutely loved the fruit snacks and poppers. They were so delicious! We are adjusting our diet to become more healthy and enjoying these boxes every month is going to be a great start to our healthy lifestyle. I highly suggest it for anyone that is on a gluten free diet and anyone that is not. It is absolutely wonderful for anyone. I cannot express enough how highly I think of this company and what they are doing to create healthy lives for people.

We will also be posting reviews of each of the snacks and food contained in the box!

I DO NOT recommend subscribing. You had much better luck with your box than did I. Perhaps because *they” contacted *you* they may have created a *special* marketing box. I received a 6 month subscription as a Christmas gift and the January box was absolutely terrible. The box had a total of 6 items and was just slightly over 1/2 pound net weight. There was a wasabi seaweed snack that my son, who likes both, said was terrible, 1.5 oz kale and ‘ vegan cheese’ chips where the stems of the kale were like tree twigs and had to be spit out – much like finding nutshells in a cookie only much larger and a complete turn off! Also in the box: two 1 ounce meat sticks, a 40gm trail bar and 4.5 oz. dried tortilla soup. These may be edible, but I am not holding out much hope.
When I tried to unsubscribe; despite policy statements on both their website and Facebook page saying one can unsubscribe at anytime; they indicated that it wasn’t going to happen and my gifter would be out the $113 dollars for the 6 month subscription. Terrible ‘food’ and even worse customer service!!
Do not subscribe – try a box and if you’re happy then maybe… but I would be very cautious.
