We have always enjoyed ham for Thanksgiving and Christmas making it a great family tradition. Burgers’ Smokehouse sent us their most popular ham, the Spiral Sliced City Ham, to review. Select a 5.5 lb to 11 lb ham making it perfect for your family feast. The ham came in styrofoam box with dry ice to keep it cold. My package was even redirected by UPS for a day and still very cold when it arrived so don’t be afraid to order one to have shipped to your home. Besides, it beats the lines at the store especially this time of year!

The Burger’s Smokehouse city ham is a hickory smoked, spiral sliced honey ham. Just take it out of the package, heat and serve. So easy! It comes with a package of honey ham glaze so you can add as much or as little as you like. The ham is very moist and tender with a delicious accent of real hickory smoke.

Serving is very convenient with the spiral slicing on the ham. You can just peel away each slice of ham very easily with no cutting required. Serve the ham with some delicious side dishes. I served ours with sour cream potatoes and it was delicious!

I also love that we are able to have plenty of leftovers. The ham is great to save and serve for breakfast or make quick ham sandwiches for lunch.

We highly recommend Burgers’ Smokehouse and their city ham. It was absolutely delicious and we were able to have 5-6 meals from the one 7.8 lb ham.
