You take time out
Many people undermine the importance of mental health, and the impact that stress can have on our bodies. It’s important to take time out, and this might mean something different for everyone. It could involve going on a vacation, taking a bath, reading, going on long walks, gardening – whatever you need to do to have some space and time away from your busy life. Your body will hugely appreciate it – as will your mind.
You eat and drink well
If you look after your health, you’ll know the importance of what you put into your body. Fizzy drinks, junk food and alcohol are all substances that people abuse, which can have disastrous impacts on our health. If you care about your health, you’ll have a healthy, balanced diet and will stick to guidelines on sugar and alcohol intake. Whilst you might treat yourself every now and then, you’ll think about what you’re putting into your body.
