Perfect Summer Kraft BBQ Sauce Fresh Chicken Salad
Summer is the perfect time to create a recipe with fresh, balanced ingredients. While I was at Walmart the other day, I noticed the Kraft BBQ sauce line has a brand new formula. Their new recipe has 8 great flavors! I immediately thought of a fresh chicken salad topped with Kraft BBQ sauce. Yum!
While I was at Walmart I gathered all of my ingredients for my Kraft BBQ fresh chicken salad. I knew I just had to try the new Kraft Spicy Honey BBQ Sauce flavor. I love honey. I love spicy and I love BBQ sauce! After I selected my Kraft BBQ sauce flavor, I started back in the produce section. I selected a package of Marketside Premium Romaine Salad and fresh sweet corn. While you’re there be sure to get a package of cherry tomatoes and a red onion. Walmart has such a great variety of produce to choose from to eat fresh or add to any recipe.
I strolled over to the deli section where I picked up a package of Oscar Mayer Carving Board Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken Breast. It is so much easier and quicker than cooking chicken breast.I then made my way over to the salad dressings and picked up my favorite Kraft Ranch Dressing. While you’re there find a package of tortilla strips by the salad toppings. You could add Planter Sunflower Kernels. They are so tasty but sadly they were out of them at the store the other day.
My last stop was in my favorite section… the cheese! Grab a package of Kraft Natural cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese. Pick up a can of black beans while you’re shopping too. Oh, be sure you also pick up Country Time Lemonade or Capri Sun to wash down your delicious salad.
So, let’s begin creating our Kraft BBQ fresh chicken salad! If you prefer your chicken heated, you can heat quickly in a skillet with a small amount of olive oil.
Place the Marketside Premium Romaine Salad in a large bowl. I used a plate for prettier pictures!
Top with all of your favorite ingredients.
Add your Oscar Mayer Carving Board Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken Breast…
Add your corn kernels and black beans…
You can never have enough cheese! Add the Kraft Natural cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese…Top with tortilla strips and Planters sunflower kernels or whatever your heart desires.
Drizzle on some Kraft Ranch Dressing…
Top with your new favorite flavor of Kraft BBQ sauce…
Serve immediately and enjoy!Wash it down with a delicious Country Time lemonade or Capri Sun.
Need a quick salad with no time for creating your own? Grab a Marketside Ranch Cobb Salad next time you’re at Walmart and top with your favorite new flavor of Kraft BBQ sauce. It may not be made by you but it’s still delicious!
