NEW Barber Foods Chicken Kiev with Vegetables
While shopping at Walmart in the frozen food aisle the other day I came across the NEW Barber Foods breaded stuffed chicken breasts. I have always thought you get much better taste by cooking products in the oven rather than the microwave. The new Barber Foods chicken must be cooked in the oven so I knew they would be full of flavor! I couldn’t wait to get them home and cook with some vegetables for my family to enjoy for supper.
The NEW Barber Foods stuffed chicken breast recipes are to be cooked in a conventional oven only! The chicken is raw so you absolutely do not want to microwave them. Here’s how to cook the Barber Foods Chicken Kiev:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Remove frozen raw breast(s) from pouch. Line with foil and place on metal baking sheet. Place each breast 2″ apart.
- Bake in preheated oven for a minimum of 27-29 minutes.
- After baking, let cool approximately 2 minutes before serving. Use a meat thermometer to measure internal temperature. Internal temperature should be at a minimum of 165°F. Insert the meat thermometer 2″ into the stuffing in the center of the entree.
Serve your Barber chicken with your favorite side dishes. I served ours with vegetables. I grabbed a bag of California style blend vegetables in the freezer aisle at Walmart. Here’s how I fixed them:
- Boil in water and then turn down to medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes.
- Drain water.
- Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper. Right before I serve them I like to add freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
The NEW Barber Foods stuffed chicken breast recipe was a huge hit with my family! They are so full of flavor and the breading is much crispier when cooked in the oven. My family loves the recipe change and can’t wait to try the other flavors. They come in three great varieties: Cordon Bleu, Broccoli Cheese, and Chicken Kiev. We tried the Chicken Kiev this time and I’m going to grab the Cordon Bleu next time I’m at the store. The new recipe are all natural chicken breasts and the Chicken Kiev are filled with butter, parsley and a hint of garlic.

All of those flavors sound really good! I do love stuffed chicken breasts, and pretty much chicken anything! Most of me grocery shopping is done at Walmart so I’ll definitely have to check these out. The cheese and broccoli flavor is probably the one I’ll end up trying first.

Sorry about the misspelling in my comment! I meant to say “my grocery shopping” not “me”, making me sound like a pirate. Or Popeye the Sailor, or Mr. KRABS from “SpongeBob SquarePants”!

We love Chicken Kiev & Cordon Blue. I’ll be trying these, if I find them in the store! I love making these with rice. Never had Barber Food brand. We’ll look for it! Thanks!

I use frozen foods all of time. I think they are time savers and almost as good as fresh and all the same nutrition. Thank you for sharing your review.
