I may be odd but one thing I absolutely hate doing is going to the store. If I could buy everything online I absolutely would. I feel like I can save so much time by doing my shopping online. I was really excited to be able to try a month of Stitch Fix for free and have my own personal stylist.
Stitch Fix is the personal style service that evolves with your tastes, needs and lifestyle. It’s perfect for someone like me that doesn’t have extra time spent in the store trying on different clothes. Based on my style profile and style pinterest board, my own personal stylist can better understand my size, style, shape, budget and lifestyle.
Here’s out Stitch Fix works:
1. Fill out your Style Profile
Begin by filling out the Style Profile which should only take about 10 minutes.
2. Pick the date you’d like to receive your shipment
Select a delivery date from the calendar. At the time your Stylist selects your items, you will be charged a $20 styling fee. That $20 will be applied as a credit toward anything you keep from your shipment.
3. Try everything on in the comfort of your home
No salespeople hassling you. It’s just you and the mirror or your child that tells you everything looks great on you. haha! My son is so bad about that very thing! Create new outfits by pairing what’s in your shipment with items that are already in your closet.
4. Buy what you like and return the rest
Take three days to decide what you’ll purchase and what you’d like to send back. You’re only charged for items you choose to keep when you check out. The $20 styling fee will be applied as credit toward any items you purchase. If you buy all five items, we’ll give you 25% off the entire purchase!
Simply return the items you don’t want in our prepaid mailer and drop it into any USPS mailbox. Stitch Fix clients enjoy free shipping both ways as a benefit of using our service.
5. Give feedback
Don’t forget to give your personal stylist feedback on what you didn’t select so they can better understand what works and doesn’t work for you.
I have selected the recurring shipments so I can automatically receive a delivery each month. I’m excited for my box every month! It’s such a nice little treat! Stitch Fix does not require a membership fee or a monthly subscription. Check out my latest fix below:
Delia Fringe Detail Crossbody. First of all, I am a huge lover of bags. I feel like they are an investment and should be made well enough to be with me for several years. Some of my bags I have had for nearly ten years and they are still gorgeous. I think the key to investing in a bag is to make sure it’s something that you’ll love several years later and is neutral to go with many outfits. I am not a huge lover of crossbody bags but I loved this bag because it has… FRINGE! I love fringe so much. This was a great item for my fix but I wish it were real leather. I’m picky about my bags and the quality. $58 if bought alone but I have the $20 credit so it would be $38.
Millie Textured Knit Dress and Dilley Dress. First of all, I never wear dresses. The only time you’ll see me in a dress is at a formal or red carpet event. Often times I try to get myself into a fabulous jumpsuit or something else just so I can avoid a dress.
So, these were returned. It may have been my fault for not selected no to dresses in my account. So, I went in and checked those off so I wouldn’t have them sent again. $68 and $74 price on each of these dresses. Of course, they’d be cheaper with the $20 stylist credit if purchased.
Brecken Mixed Material Top. I actually really like the fit and cut of this top but I was not a fan of the print. I had to send this back. I am just not a lover of prints. I am very picky when it comes to prints. $58 if bought alone but I have the $20 credit so it would be $38.
Jany Open Knit Cardigan. This was a great cardigan. It is perfect to wear with a great pair of jeans. $54 if bought alone but don’t forget I have the $20 credit so it would be $34.
All in all it was a great fix. I’m anxious to receive my next one!
