How to Create a Mother’s Day Basket of Fragrance

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching so it’s time to think of the perfect gift for Mom. Create a Mother’s Day basket with you Mom’s favorite things. Does Mom love to have a lot of fragrance throughout her home? If so, I’m going to share with you how to create a Mother’s Day basket of fragrance for your Mom with Edison and ScentSationals warmers from Walmart.

I like to purchase my products before the basket so I’ll know how big my basket should be. If you have a particular basket in mind already, or one on hand, be sure you don’t buy products that are too large for it. Size does matter! Also, get creative with your basket. If your Mom isn’t a fan of baskets, you could use a small stylish file box, bucket, kitchen strainer or anything else that Mom might find useful. Get creative!

I was in Walmart the other day and found the beautiful new Edison Wax Warmers. Edison Wax Warmer
I knew I just had to use them for my Mother’s Day basket of fragrance. For my basket, I chose the ScentSationals Edison Nautical Wax Warmer. I love the that this warmer has a reminiscent of a cozy, coastal style. It’s so different from other wax warmers I have owned. You can learn more about these at Scentsationals.com.Edison Wax Warmer

I have always been a huge fan of wax warmers. They are a safe, clean heat source. There’s no flame or soot residue. I absolutely refuse to light candles in my home (birthday parties excluded!) due to their not so safe nature. The wax warmers give me peace of mind. Be sure you follow the directions of your new Edison wax warmer VERY carefully. Here’s some great tips on how to use your new warmer:

  • Place warmer on a solid, level surface only.
  • Do not use on or near flammable surfaces, glass or any non heat resistant surface.
  • Do not use on any surface that can be damaged by wax.

I also purchased ScentSationals wax cubes during my visit to Walmart. I selected the perfect fragrances I knew my Mom would love. I wanted to be sure she was able to immediately start using her new Edison Wax Warmer. Walmart offers a well rounded fragrance selection and unique warmer designs. I’ve used these wax cubes for several years now and absolutely love them! Honestly, they last longer than other leading brands and are much cheaper!ScentSationals wax cubes

Before I put the products in my basket I filled it with some lose paper so everything was so you could easily see it. After I placed the loose paper in it I filled it with my products and placed tissue around them to make it pretty. Mother's Day BasketYou could also use cover the basket with cellophane or wrapping paper. I thought placing ribbon or a bow on the front would be a nice touch.Mother's Day Basket

  1. My mother loves fragrance- she is a big fan of candles but doesn’t burn them anymore due to fame hazards where she lives. This is a great idea for a gift for her! #client

  2. I might do this for my Aunt’s birthday, she adores candles and fragrances but because she has young children is reluctant to have open flames in the house, thanks for the idea!

  3. This is terrific, my mother is 87 and has more stuff than she can ever use, So how can you get her something new and beautiful….heh I think I just found out…Thank you
