We love being outdoors. There is always work to be done on the farm so we spend a majority of the time outside doing chores and other things. My son loves to do anything outdoors from riding his bike to helping with the chores. It’s great exercise and I think it’s so important to get our kids out of the house. I learned you should choose your battles, follow through with what you say and never give in. which is harder then it seems at times.
I learned that choosing your battles keeps them talking to you. Maybe his hair is a little shaggy but he doesn’t mind sitting and telling me about his day. I’ll settle for that.
