Actually, this would be perfect for my middle daughter. She sells her artwork at anime conventions, and in addition to the printed-up artwork she sells, she does a lot of on-site commissions. Something like this would be invaluable for her to have. It’s compact enough that she could keep it with her at her table in Artists Alley (our all-in-one printer/scanner is just too big to drag with us). I’ve actually been looking for a more portable scanner for her. Oh, and if we win, I would definitely be using it to scan in decades’ worth of family photos. We lost quite a few to a basement flood a while back, and I want to get all the others scanned into my computer and backed up – just in case.

I think my stepmom could really use something like this. There is no telling how many photos she has. She had a living room wall literally covered from midway to top with pictures framed plus she has about 5 different photo albums and when my grandma passed away she was given several albums that my grandma had. So she has a TON of pictures and could definitely use this.
